Methodology

Personica uses the Big Five (OCEAN) model as its psychometric backbone — the most extensively replicated personality framework in academic psychology. Archetype classification uses a four-dimensional thresholding algorithm applied to normalised trait scores. RIASEC career codes are derived from Big Five profiles using weighted formulas based on Larson et al. (2002) and Barrick, Mount & Gupta (2003). Career data is sourced from O*NET OnLine (CC BY 4.0), maintained by the U.S. Department of Labor. The 4-letter MBTI-style codes shown are cross-references for discoverability only. Personica does not use MBTI theory and is not affiliated with The Myers & Briggs Foundation. Full technical methodology document coming soon.
